Northwestern at Indiana

So we move after UFC 143 Betting and UFC 143 Predictions finally done. are up now with Northwestern, still in the hunt for its first-ever NCAA Tournament berth, had won three in a row before Sunday's 87-77 March Madness Picks setback at Purdue. No. 20 Indiana, meanwhile, snapped out of a recent funk by winning its last two, including an 84-71 triumph over Illinois last Thursday. The Wildcats have had their way in recent years against the Hoosiers, winning six of the last seven meetings. Northwestern swept last season's home-and-home series, taking a 93-81 victory in Evanston on Jan. 9 before pulling out a 70-64 road win on Feb. 19. The two schools rank 1-2 in the Big Ten in 3-point shooting, with the Hoosiers at 43.6 percent and the Wildcats at 38.6 percent.

TV:
6:30 p.m. ET, Big Ten Network.

ABOUT NORTHWESTERN (15-9, 5-7 Big Ten):
The Wildcats boast two of the Big Ten's top four scorers in senior SF John Shurna (1st, 19.9 ppg) and junior SG Drew Crawford (4th, 16.8), both of whom are shooting better than 40 percent from 3-point range. Northwestern is tied for the national lead in assist-turnover ratio (1.58) and also ranks among the top 10 in Division I in turnovers (10.1) and 3-pointers per game (9.0). Post play has been a concern — the Wildcats are a distant last in the Big Ten in rebounding margin (minus-4.5) and 11th in scoring defense (67.9).

ABOUT INDIANA (19-6, 7-6):
The Hoosiers lead the league in scoring (78.7), field-goal percentage (49.6) and 3-point percentage, and they are generating more points per game at the foul line (18.6) than any BCS conference team. Freshman F Cody Zeller has emerged as an All-America candidate, leading the team with 15.4 points and 6.4 rebounds while shooting 64.8 percent from the floor. Indiana boasts three of the Big Ten's top six 3-point shooters, with senior G Matt Roth (54.9 percent) and junior G Jordan Hulls (49.5 percent) holding down the top two spots.

TIP-INS

1. Despite Northwestern's recent dominance in the series, Indiana holds a lopsided 109-46 advantage through 155 all-time meetings.

2. The Wildcats have won in two of their last three trips to Bloomington, with their 75-53 victory in 2009 snapping a string of 35 consecutive losses in Assembly Hall.

3. Shurna, who ranks second on Northwestern's career scoring list, totaled 41 points in the Wildcats' two wins over Indiana last season. Free Picks Bet on Indiana

San Antonio at Toronto
So far, so good for the San Antonio Spurs on their yearly “Rodeo Trip”. The annual extended road run, which happens every February when the rodeo comes to the AT&T Center, has started with a bang, with the Spurs winning their first four outings as they head into Toronto on Wednesday night. San Antonio has had trouble with the Raptors in recent meetings, going 3-2 in their last five 2012 NBA Odds encounters. The Raptors are shaking off the cobwebs after a letdown loss to the New York Knicks and overnight sensation Jeremy Lin, who buried a 3-pointer in the final seconds to steal the victory Tuesday. San Antonio leads the all-time series with Toronto 22-9.

TV: 7 p.m. ET, Fox Sports Southwest, TSN2

ABOUT THE SPURS (20-19): Manu Ginobili is slowly working his way back into game shape after missing 22 2012 NBA Picks games with a broken hand. The Argentine guard played just under 25 minutes in the 99-95 win over the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday, shooting 0 for 4 and recording just one point on 1-for-2 shooting from the charity stripe. Ginobili has averaged 21 points per game in San Antonio’s last four victories over the Raptors, but may not get a lot of minutes with the Spurs playing back-to-back NBA Picks nights.

ABOUT THE RAPTORS (9-21): Lost in all the negative press of back-to-back last-second losses is the play of veteran point guard Jose Calderon. The Spaniard scored 30 points and dished out six assists in a 94-92 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, then scored 25 points and recorded nine dimes in a 90-87 defeat to the Knicks. Calderon has had to pick up his scoring with backcourt mate Jerryd Bayless on the sideline with an ankle injury. He’s shooting 24 for 35 (68.5 percent) from the field and 7 for 9 from beyond the arc in the last two outings.

BUZZER BEATERS:

1. Spurs first-round draft pick and Toronto native Cory Joseph makes his return home. He’s played sparingly in the past four games.

2. San Antonio’s 4-0 start to the Rodeo Trip is the team’s best start on this annual swing since going 6-0 to start the 2005-06 version.

3. Toronto is playing back-to-back home games for just the ninth time in franchise history.

NBA Picks : Spurs 91, Raptors 86.
