The fight that could have made sense when both were lightweights six months ago is good enough to do as featherweights in three months. Former WEC standout Bart Palaszewski will face longtime UFC lightweight Tyson Griffin at 145 pounds at UFC 137 on Oct. 29 in Las Vegas.
We've seen what Griffin can do at featherweight, as he got by Manny Gamburyan last month in a close fight. Now we get to see how Palaszewski looks as a trimmer man. He was originally supposed to fight Gleison Tibau at UFC 130 Results in May as a lightweight, but had to cancel with an injury. Soon after the fight was to have taken place Palaszewski announced he'd be trying his hand as a featherweight. Given the style clash, this prelim fight could end up being memorable.
