 2012 Stanley Cup Vegas odds

2012 Stanley Cup Vegas odds - According To Odds, Canucks Have No Reason To Worry. Can the Vancouver Canucks make it back to the Stanley Cup in 2012?

According to the early Vegas odds for next year’s Stanley Cup, the Vancouver Canucks should not be worried at all about the franchise missing out on it’s second finals’ defeat in the past 20 years. The Canucks have never captured hockey’s ultimate glory before, but after clinching the Presidents trophy and coming within one game of taking home the 2011 Stanley Cup Vegas Odds, Vancouver is the 11/2 odds-on favorite to finish the job in 2012. Canucks’ general manager Mike Gillis will have his work cut out for him with a ton of unrestricted free agents this summer including three of his top-four defenseman, but with the salary cap ceiling rising $5 million this MLB Betting summer there is room for him to make some moves to keep the team’s core together.

Those that are banking on the Boston Bruins to repeat won’t be surprised that the 2011 winners are listed at 8-to-1 Betting odds. General manager Peter Chiarelli will have to make sure he signs playoff hero Brad Marchand to a deal as a restricted free agent, but aside from that only Tomas Kaberle and Michael Ryder will hit the open market if they aren’t tendered deals. With Zdeno Chara, Tim Thomas, Nathan Horton, and Milan Lucic all under contract the Bruins will be a tough team to beat in the Eastern conference once again, and the odds reflect just that.

There wasn’t enough love for the rest of the final four, as the Tampa Bay Lightning and San Jose Sharks were levied 14-to-1 and 10-to-1 Vegas odds respectively. The Lightning were fortunate to face a Pittsburgh Penguins’ team that was without its best two players in the opening round, and then shut down the Washington Capitals in the second but both are favored ahead of them this year. The Penguins are listed at 9-to-1 with captain Sidney Crosby and superstar Evgeni Malkin set to return, while the notion that Alex Ovechkin and company can’t underachieve in the sports betting bonus postseason forever has the Capitals at 17-to-2. In the west, the Sharks failed to capitalize on another strong team once again when it mattered the most, yet they are still favored ahead of the Detroit Red Wings at 12-to-1, and the Chicago Blackhawks at 15-to-1.

Perhaps the best value comes from the Eastern conference with the Montreal Canadiens listed at 22-to-1 2012 Stanley Cup odds. The Canadiens lost three games to Boston in overtime in the opening round of the playoffs, and if even one of those decisions went the other way it may have very well been Montreal fighting for the cup. Carey Price is another year more mature as well as a young defense core, and the Canadiens will have the chance to add another scorer with an extra five-million added to the salary cap for the coming season. One team that fans can count on in the online casino against winning the cup is the Columbus Blue Jackets, which are listed at 90-to-1 SportsBook Betting Odds. The Blue Jackets have been awful in consecutive seasons, and just hitting the .500-mark might be a straight. 2012 Stanley Cup Vegas odds - According To Odds, Canucks Have No Reason To Worry.
